Gondola Wedding

Hi! I have been to Venice and looking forward to my return next year. I was dreaming about my wedding on a gondola in Venice since I was a child. Now I have been told that only a blessing is possible on a gondola. This means I need to marry here before we leave but I am not very happy with that. I need advice and some help!
